Web Site Hosting
All Web sites need to be hosted on a server. My web site prices do not include hosting. I do, however, handle all technical aspects of setting up your site on a server at no extra charge, including domain name assignment.
Your hosting server does need to meet several technical requirements, such as being a Unix/Linux server with PHP 5 and mySQL. Most hosting companies have these services even with their most basic packages.
There are many good hosting companies available, but I NEVER recommend GoDaddy or Yahoo hosting because, in my experience, their servers are generally so overloaded they perform slowly. If you are serious about your web presence, avoid these two companies.
If you require professional hosting at a reasonable price, I recommend HostGator. They offer reliable, high-speed hosting and excellent support for a low price.
