I do cover design (front and back), including barcodes and other required elements. I do interior design, including all typesetting. I also do eBook covers (front only) and convert files to all the popular eBook formats.
Covers sell books, and that has never been more true than when it comes to the online selling of books.
The interior design is also important as potential buyers often flip though a book to evaluate its content in a bookstore or read a sample chapter online. Amatuer design and typography betrays trust in the actual content and kills sales. I specialize in designing book covers that sell, and designing and doing the typesetting for books of all kinds. I can do either or both for your book project.
Custom book cover design begins at $385 and is delivered in high resolution Adobe Photoshop format. The file includes front cover, back cover with client supplied photo and promotional material, barcode based on client ISBN number and spine properly sized based on client-supplied page count (or our page count if we do the interior design). You get a choice of up to 3 design permutations for the fee, additional permutations are at a $35 hourly rate.

Samples of Interior Design
Interior book design is from $395, including the actual typesetting. Additional fees apply for over 12 images or 300 finished pages or when editing is done after the book has been typeset. Completed interior files are delivered to you in native Adobe Indesign CS4 format and/or professionally prepared press-ready Adobe Acrobat files. I also provide a second file in standard Acrobat format (reduced file size) for eBook distribution at no additional cost if you wish.

To get a fixed quote (no surprise price increases), let me know your finished book size (6 x 9, 8.5 x 11 or whatever it may be), your word count, whether or not your manuscript has already been carefully edited, the number of images (if any) and if they are at least 300 dpi each. This information will enable me to confirm that I can do the book for the minimum prices I have stated.
There is a 10% discount if I do both cover and interior design/typesetting at the same time.
